The short answer: Klaviyo is a strong ecommerce platform with deep store integrations. People consider leaving when profile-based pricing climbs with the list and when running the flows takes too much of their time. Linnet is email-first, run by an agent you approve, with no contact-count fee. It has no Shopify app and no SMS yet, so it fits some stores and not others.

Online stores that want detailed store and customer data driving their email, backed by a large ecosystem of integrations. If you depend on that depth, check carefully before moving.

Why some stores consider switching

The meter is active profiles. The plan grows with the profile count you slide to, and each tier carries a cap on sends.
You run the flows. Building and maintaining them is ongoing work.

When Linnet is a good replacement

Email is the main channel and your journeys are the classics: welcome, post-purchase and win-back. Abandoned checkout needs live store events, so it depends on how your store connects.
Your list is large and much of it is dormant but legitimate.
You would rather say what you want and approve a draft than build flows by hand.
You can bring customers in by file or API and do not need a live two-way store sync.

When Linnet is not a suitable replacement

Is Linnet a Klaviyo replacement for a Shopify store?

For email, often yes. Linnet does not have a Shopify app today, so you bring customers in by file or API, and anything that relies on a live two-way store sync will need to be scoped. Tell us what you rely on when you apply and we will say honestly whether Linnet fits.

Is Linnet cheaper than Klaviyo?

We do not make that claim. Linnet has no public price list yet; prices are agreed in writing during early access. Linnet has no contact-count fee, and Klaviyo prices on active profiles.

Can you move my Klaviyo flows?

We rebuild the journeys you name by hand, for example welcome and win-back, and you review each before it can run. Which journeys are possible depends on the events your store sends; the written scope says so.

Does Linnet do SMS?

Not yet. Linnet is email first. SMS and WhatsApp are on the roadmap and are not offered today.

What happens to my unsubscribes and suppressions?

They come with you as blocked, never re-subscribed. Contacts with no consent record are not imported.
